about Samurai Shodown and Street Fighter

Today I mentioned in 2df chat that Samurai Shodown games are totally unlike SF 3rd Strike, for example that I cant get used to small damages in 3rd strike; then in response some 3rd strike players started talking like how 3rd strike is good and therefore how bad is Samurai Shodown for being a game unlike 3rd strike and also that damage scaling in samsho is terrible. Well do you see some logic in that because SFIII was so well received it has the right to claim its fighting system the best and therefore other fighting systems will be more worser the more distant they are from SFIII formulae ?

well thats not a strange thing cuz every game after sf2 and in the same time that was made was called sf2 ripoff and they are games that they were way better than sf but still called rip-offs(like breakers /b.revenge fighters history aof fatal fury and many more)they even called kof a rip off and samsho but you can see that that is not the thing
